Apple TV+

What’s on offer: So far, only Apple exclusives – soap operas, movies, and documentaries. Objectively, the service has many times fewer movies and TV shows than its competitors, and for the most part they have not received high ratings from viewers and critics. On the whole, TV+ still looks crude, and it’s not surprising that the initial strategy has already changed and Apple is starting to buy third-party content and new releases for exclusive screenings (Greyhound and others).

Platforms and devices: iOS and Mac devices, some Samsung, Sony, LG and Vizio smart TVs with AirPlay 2 support, Roku and Amazon TV sticks, some set-top boxes.

How much: from $4.99 per month – the cheapest of the major streaming services. There’s a 7-day free period when you sign up.
